Manager Cash Operations
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate
will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in meeting our clients’
cash operations processing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
·
Assist corporate clients with detailed and necessary account
information for better and efficient account reconciliation services;
·
Ensure prompt processing of transactions that corporate clients
have placed through advanced web services;
·
Facilitate local and international remittance of payments
through SWIFT and RTGS systems;
·
Coordinate reporting and processing of cash concentration
services to corporate clients;
·
Facilitate processing of bulk payments for corporate clients
through cheques, EFT and mobile payment services;
·
Oversee the administration and management of corporate sweep;
netting and pooling and cash collection services for corporate clients;
·
Prepare and implement work schedules for the corporate cash
operations department;
·
Assess the risk levels within corporate cash operations
department and come up with necessary controls and mitigations;
·
Meet turnaround times as per service level agreements and
productivity standards.
Position Requirements
·
Bachelors degree in a business field.
·
Professional qualification - CPA/ACCA.
·
Minimum 7 years of experience, 3 of which must be in a
leadership role.
·
Strong knowledge of the Global Banking and Financial Services
Industry, and International Cash and Payment Systems including SWIFT &
KEPSS.
·
Good understanding of transactional banking products, activity
flows, systems, associated risks, applicable rules and regulations.
·
Experience in use of Internet banking systems.

Business Process Analyst
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate
will be responsible for the execution of business process improvement
initiatives, including process audits for continuous improvement of operations.
Key Responsibilities
·
Define and apply a structured process management approach and
methodology to build and monitor operations unit process and procedures;
·
Analyse all procedures, processes and team oriented task to
reduce redundancy, build efficiency and ultimately increase staff productivity;
·
Enforce a structured process management approach and methodology
to build and monitor process and procedures under guidance of operations unit
line managers;
·
Simulate and test process improvements where applicable;
·
Communicate change and provide training to impacted business
units;
·
Challenge and brainstorm with management to continuously
evaluate their teams procedures and processes to eliminate inefficiencies;
·
Perform process review assessments to identify and asses the
risks inherent within the current processes ¡n the operations division;
·
Conduct all audit efforts for operations department processes,
procedures and internal documentation.
Position Requirements
·
Bachelors degree in a business or technical field.
·
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in bank operations, 2
of which should be ¡n Business Process Management or Analysis.
·
Knowledge of Six Sigma or other process improvement
methodologies will be a definite advantage.

Trade Operations Analyst
2 Positions
Reporting to the, Trade Operations Manager, the successful
candidate will be responsible for the delivery of trade services that meet
service and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
·
Verify and authorise all trade services transactions of the team
within delegated authority and within TP system release limits;
·
Verify contents of a transaction to ensure that neither customer
nor bank is placed at risk;
·
Meet turnaround times as per service level agreements and
productivity standards;
·
Organise workflow to achieve maximum productivity;
·
Act as a primary point of contact for customer service group for
enquiries and problem resolutions;
·
Monitor all transaction to ensure that obligations/payments are
duly met;
·
Monitor and report irregular items to the Manager Trade
Services, with a view to taking corrective action for timely liquidation of
such items;
·
Ensure charges are applied correctly and appropriate approvals
are held for waivers.
Position Requirements
·
Bachelors degree in a business or technical field.
·
Professional qualification CPA or ACCA.
·
Minimum 5 years of experience ¡n trade finance operations.
Other Requirements
·
Thorough understanding of ICC rules, trade laws and risks.
·
Excellent knowledge of trade documentation and shipping terms.
·
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
·
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
·
Proficiency in use of information technology.
