Summary
Our
client is a local vendor in the IT industry with strong affiliation to numerous
international software brands.
You
will be required to have adept experience working with targets, client follow
ups and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Source and
improve on the existing business to grow volume and develop computer and
accessories business in different market segments
- Collect feedback
from the market regarding the market share and competition
- Advise the
company on the market demands and dynamics change and propose improvements
on the same.
- Promote better
working relations through ensuring good public relations with clients.
- Execute
marketing activities i.e. ensure that all clients are well informed in
terms of stock, sales etc.
- Make accurate
cost calculations, provide customers with quotations, negotiate the terms
of agreement and close sales
- Responsible for
coordinating customers orders and follow up on delivery
- Monitor sales in
the market and undertake market analysis to ensure targets and objectives
are met
- Develop and
maintain a contacts database and continually update it with contact and
activity details
- Prospect for new
business in assigned market segment with the aim of meeting/surpassing set
sales targets.
- Maintaining and
developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone
calls and emails.
Qualification
and experience
- Degree in
business management or equivalent, a diploma in sales/ marketing/customer
service is an advantage
- At least 3 years
sales experience in B2B sales preferably in the IT Industry
- Strong
communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong
interpersonal and relationship building skills including customer service
skills
- Strong
commercial awareness and Computer literacy
- A confident and
determined approach and ability and desire to sell
- The capacity to
flourish in a competitive environment
