Sales Manager Job in Kenya


Our clients is a logistics company that has been in operation for 39 years, primarily involved in Removals, Packing, Warehousing, Air and Sea Export, Import Freight and Clearance, Travel and Tours, the company is looking for a Sales Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving sales targets and growth
  • Responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Participate in identifying corporate sales planning and strategies
  • Conduct Marketplace intelligence and research
  • Identify and enlarge Targeted Customer Base and Industry
  • Promote service offerings to customers and prospects
  • Conduct sales calls and visits
  • Conduct internal meetings or vendor meetings to formulate solutions
  • Identify and develop service and solution offerings
  • Develop pricing and business models based on customer needs
  • Preparation and submission of proposals to customers
  • Prepare and conduct corporate presentations and sales meeting
  • Deal with and overcome objections raised by customers
  • Respond and follow-up on customers’ enquiries and requests
  • Provide timely and accurate information on industry or customers’ intelligence
  • Collate and submit sales reports and analysis
  • Collate and present performance to customers and/or management
  • Develop strong customer relationships through regular visits or timely response to their queries
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
  • Discharge all account management responsibilities
  • Any other duties as and when assigned by the superior
Person Specifications
  • Diploma/Degree in any field
  • 3 years working experience in logistics or supply chain
  • Good understanding of logistics concepts
  • Analytical skills
  • Good presentation and communication skills (written/verbal)
  • Commercially astute (in order to understand the commercial implications)
  • Customer-focused (in order to meet the needs of each customer)
