Technical Sales Consultant

Reporting to the commercial manager, the incumbent’s roles and responsibilities will include:
- Undertake
sales of IPM products (biological and associated products) within the
designated region.
- Technical
support of growers to ensure proper use of Koppert products and IPM
programs.
- Undertake
Training of growers on Integrated Pest Management (IPM), including biological
pest control and the safe use of pesticides.
- Represent
the company at trade fairs and exhibitions.
Required qualifications and skills:
- A
Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or Agriculture from a
recognizeduniversity. • Additional post-graduate qualifications in
business/marketing will be an added advantage.
- Minimum
3 years’ experience in sales and marketing of crop inputs (biologicals,
agrochemicals, fertilizers, seeds, etc.), preferably to largescale,
professional growers.
- Good
knowledge and networks in the horticulture/floriculture industry in Kenya.
- Excellent
oral and written communication skills, including formal presentations.
- Good
organisational and negotiation skills.
- Attention
to detail, integrity and self-drive.
- An
amiable team player, able to build and maintain strong relationships.
