five years, we have grown to serve 135,000 farm families with more than 500
full-time field staff.

Primary Duties of Repayment Auditor
Key Tasks
- Carry
out the implementation of internal auditing program and operational system
- Establish
adherence to internal and regulatory policies in all areas of the
organizations activities.
- Ensure
that accounting policies designed are being applied as required.
- Ensure
that there is absolute compliance with internal policies and controls
systems
- Execute
audit tests in compliance with conventional auditing guidelines.
- Carry
out audit reviews to assess the effectiveness of risk management and the
adequacy of internal controls.
- Ensure
the Organizations’ policy manuals are strictly adhered to.
- Prepare
reports on audit findings for sharing with the management team.
- Provide
workable solutions, guidance on process improvement and best practices.
- Follow
up audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation and action on
corrective measures to mitigate identified risks.
- Prepare
regular internal audit reports.

- A
minimum of a Degree, preferably Bachelor of Commerce/ Business Management
and/ or related relevant academic qualifications.
- At
least two years of experience in Accounting, preferably with local or
international NGOs
- Proven
organizational, analytical, negotiating, communication (oral and written)
and training skills
- Ability
to work with minimum supervision to meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge
and skills on data management and reporting
- Must be
computer proficient
- Must be
honest, discreet and trustworthy.
- Ability
to work quickly and accurately.
- An eye
for detail.
The candidate must be willing to reside in the western and
Nyanza regions of Kenya.
Preferred Start
Date: Early November 2012

Compensation: Competitive Salary with Performance Based Incentives
