Head Chef 

Job Description:
  • Ensure high standards of food production and maintain consistently maintained
  • To ensure that high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained
  • Accurately accounting for production stock
  • Work closely with the managers to plan menus that would attract and retain customers
  • To ensure efficient service delivery is maintained in the kitchen
  • To ensure food variety is provided and it meets every member’s  expectation and specification
  • To ensure that kitchen equipment and crockery is properly maintained
  • To plan, direct and supervise the activities of all kitchen staff
  • To develop and demonstrate proper use of standard recipes
  • Analyzing cost margins  and  control costs of production
  • Identify training needs of  cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Ensure world – class customer service is provided
Job Specification:
  • Diploma in Food Production or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Minimum three (3) years work experience as a Head Cook/Chef in a busy 3 to 4 star restaurant
  • Ability to guide and supervise staff
  • Must be conversant with food and beverage cost control and accountability
  • Other certificates relevant to the job i.e. kitchen supervision will be an added advantage Computer literate
  • Innovative and quality conscious
  • Good food presentation skills
  • KCSE C+
  • Ability to work under pressure& long hours.
F&B Supervisor

The successful candidate will be responsible for;
  • Supervision and training of all service staff while maintain outstanding guest relations in banquets and restaurants.
  • Assisting in controlling inventory of all restaurant and bar supplies.
  • Ensuring all delegated tasks is completed to performance standards.
  • Checking cleaning standards of all restaurant and service areas.
  • Ensuring food is served in correct proportions, properly garnished and at the correct temperatures.
  • Ensuring food quality and quantity in the buffet, restaurants and banquets.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations regarding health and safety of guests and oversee compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Providing courteous service to all guests and be cordial to team members.
Job Specification
  • Aged 25-35 years.
  • Holder of a diploma in hotel management or F&B Service advanced certificate from Kenya Utalii College or any other internationally recognized hotel training institution.
  • Have at least two (2) years experience in a similar position, preferably from a 4 star establishment.
  • Must be able to do shift work including weekends, public holidays and special events as needed.
  • Ability to work in an environment that demands exceptional performance.
  • Be computer literate and a team player.
