Program description:
This
program is collaboration between Kenya Medical Research Institute and the US
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention whose remit is to conduct research
in malaria, HIV and other diseases.

Head Mechanic
Essential
Requirement:
- KCSE
mean grade D+ and above or equivalent.
- Motor
Vehicle mechanic Grade III, II, I) Certificate or Diploma in Automotive
Engineering
- Driving
License Classes B, C, E.
- At
least 3 years of demonstrated Auto-Mechanical experience.
Desired Qualities
- Proficiency
in written and verbal English.
- Good
judgment in problem solving, wise leadership
- High
level of professionalism and honesty
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry
out Motor Vehicle minor and major services.
- Trouble
shoot and repair vehicles
- Overhaul
and repair motor vehicle starters and alternators
- Provide
technical support and repairs to Fleet management System; Fleet Log and
Fuel Log
- Keep
track record of work accomplished and give report over the same to the
supervisor
