Chief Financial Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist
in formulating the company’s future direction, financial forecasting and
supporting tactical initiatives
- Monitor
and direct the implementation of strategic sales programs
- Manage
the capital request and budgeting processes
- Develop
performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction
- Participate
in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Manage
the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and
treasury departments
- Manage
any third parties to which functions have been outsourced
- Oversee
the company’s transaction processing systems
- Implement
operational best practices
- Oversee
employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a
cost-effective benefits and commission package
- Oversee
the issuance of financial information
- Report
financial results to the board of directors
- Understand
and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile
- Monitor
all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting
the industry
- Construct
and monitor reliable control systems
- Maintain
appropriate insurance coverage
- Ensure
that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure
that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government
agencies
- Report
risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors
- Maintain
relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and
recommendations
- Maintain
banking relationships
Requirements:
- MUST-
Finance Degrees/Qualifications.
- MUST-
6+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles,
preferably in renewable energy sector (community based products).
- MUST
- 6+ years of financial experience and management experience with the
day-to-day financial operations of an organization of at least 50 staff
persons.
- Strong
problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound
judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan,
organize, direct and control your sales staff and distributors to meet
objectives.
- At
the beginning of each month, counsel with each sales executive and
distributor to establish realistic sales objectives for the month and
action plan.
- Each
month establish sales targets for each established distribution channel
and submit them to CFO and Managing Director.
- Achieve
forecasted sales by following (and, if necessary, adjusting) your written
plan of action.
- Monitor
each sales person’s daily performance and compare it with their month’s
objective.
- Implement
strong tracking tools to monitor performance of all sales staff as well as
distributors
- Meet
weekly with sales staff and distributors
- Offer
them the coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation or information
they need in order to help them meet their sales objectives.
- Review
the entire stock daily and plan orders accordingly.
- Recruiting,
hiring and training your people.
- Developing
the most well trained, professional sales force possible.
- Review
the performance of your salespeople and to motivate and stimulate them to
even greater achievements.
- Motivate
them to perform well.
- Assist
them in the selling process whenever needed.
Requirements:
- MUST-
5 years of experience in sales management in the renewable energy sector
(community based products).
- MUST-
Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated,
successful and results-oriented sales force.
- MUST-
Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
Sales Agents
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage
sector sales, source new sales channels, conduct demos, sell door-to-door,
and fulfil orders
- Build
awareness about product and educate customers on product usage
- Ensure
accurate customer information is collected

6.Bahati, Eastleigh North, Eastleigh South, Kamukunji, Pumwani
Requirements:
Must live within one of the above areas.
Minimum qualification diploma and 2 years prior work experience
with excellent references required.
