The statutory mandate of the Council is to publish the official Kenya Law Reports which are compilations of the decisions of the superior courts of Kenya, and the revision and updating the Laws of Kenya. the Council is a leading publisher of public legal information.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will include recording book titles into database; cataloging library material, typing from drafts; and operating other related machines.

Under the direction of the Program Officer, the Assistant Program Officer will coordinate, implement, monitor, evaluate and supervise the Council’s Projects in liaison with development partners and Government agencies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provision
of technical and logistic support to NCLR in coordination, implementation,
monitoring and supervision of the Council’s projects;
- Facilitation
of regular monitoring, supervision and continuous internal evaluation of
project activities;
- Liaison
with the Government and development partners to ensure timely submission
of work plans, budgets, reports and other relevant documents, release of
project funds and effective implementation of the project activities;
- Lead
efforts for the mobilization of additional resources for the project;
- To
submit periodic implementation reports on activities implemented under the
project grant;

Assist in preparation of regular project financial and administrative
reports, including the preparation of documentation for development
partner reports and
- Information
gathering, typing, editing and formatting text, tables and graphics.
