Our client is seeking to recruit an Accountant- Fixed Assets who will report and be accountable to the Financial Controller.

Our client is seeking to recruit an Accountant- Fixed Assets who will report and be accountable to the Financial Controller.
- Reconcile
fixed asset subsidiary ledgers to the GL monthly.
- Resolve
any resulting discrepancy discovered.
- Ensure
that all inventory transfers are appropriately accounted.
- Initiate
research, identify the business or operational issues that affect the
company's fixed assets, as well as recommend ways of improving the
existing system and processes.
- Prepare
monthly fluctuation analyses on changes in the FA and accumulated
depreciation accounts and communicate your findings and recommendations to
the management.
- Prepare
audit schedules and resolve audit issues identified by external auditors,
prepare depreciation and other fixed asset-related entry adjustments.
- Prepare
supporting tax schedules for income and property tax returns and tracking
the company's capital expenditure against capital requests.
- Responsible
for operational cash flow and treasury.
Minimum requirements
- First
degree Commerce or any other Business related field
- CPA(K)
- Minimum
2 -3 years’ work experience in fixed assets.
- Independent
and self-driven.
- Must
be a meticulous self-starter and have the ability to multi-task to meet
tight timelines.
- Excellent
communication, problem solving and organizational skills
