Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 Article 230 (b) and the salaries and Remuneration Commission Act 2011 Section 5 (2), the Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU-K) hereby invites applications from suitably qualified persons to be nominated to represent COTU (K) in the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
Such a person should:
1. a) be a holder of a degree from a University recognized in Kenya
b) has knowledge and at least (10) ten years experience in either:-

- Labour Laws
- Economics
- Finance and Administration
- Public Management
- Human Resource Management; or

2. Meets the requirement of Chapter (6) of the Constitution and has had a distinguished career in their respective fields.

- Is a member of parliament or country assembly
- A member of a governing body of a political party
- Is a member of a local authority
- Is an un-discharged bankrupt; or
- Has been removed from office for contravening the provisions of any law
