Our client, The New Kenya Co-operative Cremeries Limited is one one of the leading Dairy Companies in the country re-known for its world class brands that include KCC Butter, Ghee, Cheese, Gold Crown, Safariland Powder and Mala among others.

They wish to recruit a dynamic and result driven 
Head of Sales & Marketing.

Job Profile

The Head of Sales & Marketing will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

He / She will be responsible for:
  • Providing leadership and oversight for the sales and marketing function.
  • Leading regular review of sales and marketing strategies to guarantee the business a competitive advantage at all times.
  • Developing and leading a robust and motivated sales and marketing team.
  • Driving the implementation of policies, strategies and controls to enhance business and revenue growth, profitability and market share.
  • Identifying, overseeing and assessing the activities of external advertising, promotions, and marketing research agencies engaged to implement strategies.
  • Preparing, monitoring and controlling the departmental budget as well as the departmental procurement plan.
  • Ensuring brand profitability through correct pricing policies as well as developing an effective price strategy.
  • Monitoring competitor activities as well as the performance of the company’s products in the market and advising management accordingly.
  • Managing relationships and ensuring customers satisfaction through regular contacts and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Person Profile
  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Membership to professional body such as Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK)
  • 7 - 8 years relevant experience with at least 3 years at senior management level.
  • Proven competence in a front line management position.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities
  • Excellent interaction, presentation, organization and co-ordination skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in management information systems.
