A fast growing Savings and Credit Co-operative society offering services to members and with several branches in central region of Kenya has completed implementation of a Management Information System (MIS) to manage its current and future business operations.
The Society is seeking services of a consultant to carry out an independent evaluation of the MIS and advise the Board of Directors.
Specifically, the evaluation will involve the following;

Specifically, the evaluation will involve the following;
- To assess confirm that the MIS provider met the terms of reference
- Carry out a critical assessment to establish the capability of the software to meet the needs of the Sacco and the regulator.
- To assess the capability of the MIS to integrate with ancillary and interfacing systems
- To assess whether the security of the MIS meets the appropriate standards
- Determine the versatility in product management
The applicant must be a registered organization that demonstrates the following
- Understanding of Sacco business model
- Ability to complete assignments within set deadlines
- Availability of necessary and required resources including personnel
Qualified and interested consultants and firms should submit their EOI accompanied by the following;
- CV of the Consultant or Company profile.
- Evidence of carrying our similar or related assignments.
- Firms should attach CVs of the consultants proposed for the assignment (if a firm wins the bid, then it will not be allowed to change the proposed consultants for the assignment).
