As a one-stop health care provider, our client provides consultation, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology and in-patient services. With a network of 10 facilities, our client is now one of the fastest growing healthcare institutions in the country.

Arising from this growth and the aspirations to set world class standards for the health sector, our client is seeking to fill the positions of Chief Finance Officer, Human Resource Manager and Brand Manager.

Position: Chief Finance Officer

The responsibilities for this role include:

  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and compliance with international accounting standards and other relevant regulations
  • Facilitate the preparation of budgets and financial plans of the company and oversee strict adherence to budgets and plans
  • Preparation and presentation of financial statements to the management, board and regulatory agencies
  • Coordinating the annual auditing process, ensuring implementation of audit recommendations and ensuring effective internal controls
  • Manage cash inflows and outflows to ensure optimum levels of liquidity and investments
  • Chief advisor to the company on financial and corporate governance matters
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of appropriate financial systems, policies, standards and procedures.
  • Periodic review of policies and procedures to ensure their relevance to the business strategy and changing organizational needs
  • Monitor and review departmental performance
Our ideal candidate should:
  • Hold degree a business degree from a recognized university
  • Be a qualified CPA (K) , ACCA or CFA
  • Have at a minimum 5 years accounting and financial management experience in a busy environment
  • Have at least two years experience using a reputable financial management software
  • Experience in an audit environment will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrate team leadership skills and initiative
Position: Human Resource Manager

The responsibilities for this role include:
  • Overall development and implementation of the HR strategy to support the organisation’s business objectives and growth aspirations
  • Implement and manage the performance management system and ensure its effective execution through the line managers
  • Ensure efficient and effective human resource administration services including development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and management of the staff medical scheme and other benefits;
  • Supervising and training managers and supervisors on basic staff management skills to support the overall HR Strategy.
  • Driving and monitoring the Key Performance Indicators of the company’s HR strategy
  • Manage industrial relations within the organization and ensure adherence to the labour law; and enforce safety regulations on site through site administrator;
  • Management of confidential and employee records, effective leave, benefits and payroll administration; and supervision of the administration function in the company
The ideal candidate should have;
  • A degree in a human resource management from a recognized university, or social and business related degree
  • A postgraduate qualification in human resources management.
  • A minimum of 5 years human resource experience with exposure to different facets of human resource management preferably in a service environment
  • Experience institutionalizing HR policies and processes will be an added advantage
  • A solid understanding of employment law
Position: Brand Manager

Primary responsibilities in this role include:
  • Develop and implement a branding strategy to reposition the brand
  • Provide overall guidance on all communication material for the organization
  • Development and execution of the communication strategy and advertising plans
  • Enhance the corporate identity of the brand
  • Initiate a brand internalization program for the entire organisation
  • Coordinate surveys to measure customer satisfaction to both internal and external customers
  • Coordinate all corporate responsibility programmes, sponsorship, and corporate events
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and partners in development and roll out of new products
The ideal candidate should have:
  • A Marketing degree from a recognized university, or social and business related degree with a postgraduate qualification in marketing
  • 3 to 5 years experience working in a busy marketing department
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Previous experience in brand management in a service industry will be an added advantage
