Key responsibilities:
· Create, manage, maintain and provide technical support to DRC databases (online/offline) in the Horn of Africa and Yemen including planning and overseeing data collection, input and verifications; development of standard and ad hoc reports.
· Design an Integrated Financial Management System based on a unified chart of accounts, and an accounting, budgeting and financial reporting system based on business process analysis of financial management and practices in the DRC field/Regional offices.
Requirements:
· Must posses Masters degree in MIS or Computer Science. Minimum of 4 years relevant experience at senior level, preferably in an internal NGO.
· Extensive experience with web application development in a LAMP environment; strong knowledge of Apache and Linux administration; and expertise with enterprise web platforms such as Liferay.
· Knowledge of DRC approach and operations, fluency in Arabic; and
· working knowledge on the following areas: Financial Management Systems, Grants Management, Geo-Mapping, Monitoring and Evaluation, refugee registration and IDP profiling.
