Roles and Responsibilities
- Leading in Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of CMAD programmes as stipulated in the strategic plan and reporting progress regularly to the Board.
- Ensuring implementation of sound management policies, procedures and systems for efficient and effective delivery of programs
- Ensuring timely preparation of annual work plans and budgets for the Boards approval and preparing regular financial reports and updating the Board on key development in the organization
- Providing support to the Board mi the development of related policies and strategic plans
- Ensure the organization observes all necessary legal and statutory obligations
- Building and protecting CMAD profile and relations with external parties
- Having the overall responsibility for resource mobilization and management
- Building effective relationship with the Board, Staff and CMAD stakeholders
Qualifications and Competency
- A Masters degree in a relevant field, preferably Natural/Agricultural Sciences or Social Sciences
- At least 5 years experience in research and development work
- Demonstrated management skills
- Experience in designing programmes and developing project proposals
- Experience in implementing, monitoring and evaluating programs and projects
- Extensive written and oral communication and presentation abilities
- Computer Literacy
- Willingness to travel and work under flexible working hours
- Awareness or interest on key global issues
