Personal Assistant (PA) To The CEO: African Trade Insurance Agency

The purpose of the position is to provide administrative, secretarial, and logistical support to the CEO.
The specific responsibilities are as follows:
  • arranges meetings, drafts minutes of meetings and prepares other routine documents;
  • ensures follow-up action as may be required by the CEO from time to time;
  • speedy processing, safe storage and retrieval of information;
  • attends to visitors and telephone calls.
  • makes travel and accommodation arrangements for the CEO and other senior staff;
  • promotes safe and efficient use of office machinery, equipment and inventories allocated to the office.
The PA may be required to provide other general administrative services as may be assigned from time to time.

  • Experience in events management is desirable.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to have a minimum of a Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Studies or other related discipline.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline will be an advantage.
  • 4 years of experience working as a Personal Assistant to a senior executive or as a senior secretary in a busy department is required.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written) and French (spoken and written) are essential for the position.
The position is categorized as general staff category (local) under ATI’s classification.
Salary range: $20,000- 24,000 per annum.
