Continuous Improvement Engineer Job Vacancy

Our client is looking to fill the position of a Continuous Improvement Engineer position.
Responsible to provide leadership in implementation of world class Continuous Improvement Programmes
Reporting to the senior country leadership team, the successful candidate’s main responsibilities will be to:-
  • Establish Project Metrics and monitor progress to assure compliance, customer satisfaction and attainment of company commitments and objectives.
  • Identify, define and develop project schedules
  • Monitor and control project work in progress for technical adequacy and international standards compliance.
  • Provide active guidance to meet targeted schedules and/or resolve complex technical requirements.
  • Execute processes required to provide products and services that meet quality, performance, schedule and cost requirements.
  • Implement technical training & skill development processes to enhance performance and encourage continuous professional development
  • Ensure transition responsibility from project team to process owners upon project completion.
Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and teams
  • Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, with the ability to consider a broad range of internal/external factors.
  • Comprehensive short term and long term planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, build relationships with internal and external structures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point; and excellent computer skills.
Experience in project management will be added advantage
  • Training in Six Sigma at a Black or Green Belt level will be added advantage
  • Training in TPM, JIT, Lean Concepts, Statistical Process Control e.t.c. will be added advantage
