A franchised Motor Company is looking for Mechanics who meet the following requirements;
Key Result Areas
  • Independently carry out repairs, calibrations and troubleshooting on vehicles with electronic control systems and electrical components using PC diagnostics.
  • Diagnose, analyse and rectify various types of faults, including engines, gear boxes and retarders, brakes systems, pneumatic and electric components.
  • Diagnose, check and set the mechanical systems/components.
  • Provide technical advice to colleagues.
  • Ensure that customers requirements and expectations are met, through the provision of quality workmanship.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Diploma in auto-motive engineering (Heavy Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualification).
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently with least supervision.
  • Computer literate.
  • Five (5) years work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles.
