Technical Assistance Kenya - MARPS: BroadReach Healthcare Jobs

BroadReach is recruiting for short and long term consultants for a program focused on increasing access to quality comprehensive HIV prevention services for Most-At-Risk Populations (MARPs) in the Republic of Kenya.

The purpose of this program is to provide continued support to the implementation and scale up of a combination of evidence-based, cost-effective HIV prevention interventions for Most-At-Risk-Populations (MARPs), provide technical support to improve the quality of HIV prevention interventions in Kenya, develop quality assurance
 systems, and share experience, training, and lessons learned with the Government of Kenya (GoK) agencies supporting combination HIV prevention services for MARPs.

Funding will support increasing access to combination HIV prevention services that incorporate behavioral, structural, and


biomedical HIV-prevention interventions.

In addition, the program will collaborate and integrate activities with orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), HIV prevention programs for the general population and youth, prevention of mother to child HIV transmission (PMTCT), care and treatment, and blood safety programs being implemented in these regions.

Qualifications

Prevention or behavior professionals with a strong academic and theoretical grounding in developing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral prevention strategies for MARPs.

Candidates should also be qualified in the following: management of HIV/AIDS prevention activities, especially confidential, voluntary counseling and testing; and the development of capacity building among and collaboration between Governmental and non-governmental partners.
