Pharmacist Job Group ‘M’ Two (2) Positions Terms of service: Three (3) Years Contract
Responsibilities:
- Screening prescription for legal validity
- Drug contraindication
- Drug interaction
- Appropriateness of dose
- Frequency and duration of dosing and
patients convenience
- Preparing and dispensing medicines
according to good dispensing practices
- Counseling patients on use of medicine
- Making extemporaneous preparations
- Participating in ward rounds
- Identifying medicinal Gaps and challenges
- Maintaining a daily activity log book for
recording all activities undertaken
Requirements:
- Be a Kenyan Citizen
- Have Bachelor of pharmacy Degree (B
Pharm) from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
- Have successfully completed one (1) year
internship
- Have Registration Certificate by the
Pharmacy and Poisons Board
- Have Certificate in Computer application
Skills form a recognized institution
- Have a valid practicing license
