Background Information
Kwiminia – is civil society organization registered in Kenya to promote sound environmental conservation initiatives and improve the livelihoods of the rural needy people in Makueni district.  The organization is seeking the services of a web designer to develop and host a website for the CBO for a period of one Year. The web hosting contract is renewable every year upon satisfactory services provision
The Scope of the Service
The organization seeks to engage the services of a qualified and experienced web designer who shall design and host the organizations web site as per the assignment here under though not limited to:
The consultant will carry out the following
  • Develop and design a website defining the CBOs identity
  • Out lay of the programs and projects run by the CBO
  • On line referencing and links to the  partners web site
  • Publications such newsletters, reports hosted
  • On line fundraising
  • Offer technical support when required or requested.   This exercise will attract any consultancy payment
  • Give a guarantee of six months for this work
Knowledge Skills and Qualifications

  • Hands on experience in Web Design
  • Skilled in web design for CBOs and NGOs
  • At least Degree  in Information technology
  • worked on similar previous assignments
Required
  • Provide detailed profile stating similar undertaking with other organizations.
  • Provide a copy of certificate of registration / incorporation
  • Must provide a copy of valid KRA Tax compliance Certificate
  • Provide a sample of web sites designed and hosted in the past
  • Detailed budget for the assignment and the set time line to carry out the work
