In an effort to ensure we remain focused on achieving these goals Sage Pastel International are looking for a Sales and Business Development Executive for East Africa.
Job Description
This primary function of this sales position focuses on acquiring new business in conjunction with the Sage Pastel channel partner, primarily focused on Pastel Evolution. The secondary objective will be to manage the selling of the rest of the Sage Pastel products including upgrades with the aim of establishing whether they are using the correct solution software for their business. The individual will also be responsible for managing a sales pipeline as well as maintaining and building customer relationships.

Skills Requirement

  • Suitable candidates must have a good understanding of the mid market business environment
  • Have a sound appreciation of the Sage Pastel product ’stable’.
  • Be responsible for building and maintenance of the Sage Pastel Sales Pipeline.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
  • Previous sales experience in the ERP space will be adistinct advantage.
  • Good presentations skills
  • Objection Handing
  • Negotiating Skills
  • Closing Skills
  • Cold Calling
Personal Qualities
  • Ideal candidates will have sound technical knowledge with a minimum of 3 years proven sales track record.
  • The successful applicant will display strong interpersonal and communication skills, specifically with a good telephone/face-to-face manner.
  • An acute attention to detail will impact success in this role.
