IT Support Job in Kenya

Job Summary

To cultivate a safe, secure and healthy environment for patients, colleagues and staff and provide exceptional quality care services to patients and their family members.

Support the implementation and maintenance the Hospital’s computing needs and HMIS.

Key Responsibilities

  • To maintain the highest possible standard of client care by adhering to the hospital standard treatment protocol and guidelines.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of computer system, network devices and printers.
  • Provide technical support to hospital staff and troubleshoot computers and network issue.
  • Assist with the management of server infrastructure, software installations and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards and data protection regulations.
  • Monitor IT systems to ensure they meet the daily needs of hospital operations.
  • Assist in training staff on new IT systems and software applications.
  • Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software resources.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
  • Respond to emergency situations effectively to minimize any possible disruption.
  • Set up and cleaning up of materials and equipment during procedures.
  • Perform any other duties within the scope of the position as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications


  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related field.
  • 2 years of work experience as an IT support in a busy hospital.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows software.
