Job Summary
- To cultivate a safe, secure and healthy
environment for patients, colleagues and staff and provide exceptional
quality care services to patients and their family members.
- To ensure sterilization and disinfection
of dental equipment during and after procedures
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain the highest possible standard
of client care by adhering to the hospital standard treatment protocol and
guidelines
- Directly assist dentist during procedures
- Set up and cleaning up of materials and
equipment during procedures
- Accurately chart and charge a patients
visit as directed by provider
- Handling and disposing of infectious and
hazardous waste as by the Hospital’s waste management policy
- Ensure proper inventory management of
stock in the Dental Department
- Adherence and maintenance of patients’
confidentiality
- Adherence to the communication policy of
Imara Hospital
- Perform any other duties within the scope
of the position as assigned by the supervisor or Head of Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Certificate in Dental Assisting
- Certificate in basic life support (BLS)
will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 1 years’ working experience in
a busy dental facility •Proficient in computer applications
