Partnerships and Fund Raising Manager Job in Kenya

The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of water and energy solutions in the region. The Group operates through a network of Kenyan branches and has regional presence in Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, South Sudan, Zimbabwe, Somalia, and the DRC and seeks to fill the roles of Customer Financing Manager, Partnerships and Fund-Raising Manager

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will report to the Group Projects Manager and will be charged with managing the Group Partnerships and Fund-Raising function, with the following key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate identification of partnership opportunities.
  • Develop partnership proposals.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of partners and donors.
  • Prepare and present partnership and grant documentation.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships database.
  • Ensure full compliance with project reporting requirements.
  • Compile partner and donor impact metrics.
  • Liaise with key leaders of funding and partner organizations.
  • Ensure smooth communication with current and potential partners and donors.

  • Represent the company at appropriate forums and events.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of initiating and managing partnerships and funding relationships with government, non-governmental and corporate organizations.
  • Experience within the Water & Energy sector will be an added advantage

  • Self-driven with good leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
