A company located in Machakos County dealing with the processing and packaging of fruits and vegetables is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technician.
Salary
Range: 30K – 40K
Job
Description: The technician will be responsible for
maintenance, repair and servicing of a wide range of factory equipment such
boilers, pumps, mechanical handling systems, compressors, blowers etc
Duties;
· Perform
all mechanical repairs as required to ensure that the plant is operating
optimally
· Perform
all preventive maintenance tasks including cleaning, inspections, lubrication
as per maintenance schedule
· Monitor
Equipment performance and reliability
· Should
be able to perform welding and fabrication tasks when necessary
· Ensure
proper documentation and records
· Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
· Knowledge,
Experience, and Skills Required:
Qualifications:
· Certificate
in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent course
· O-Level
Education
· Understand
the basics of Food Safety
· Successful
candidates should be available to report immediately
Experience:
–
· 5 Years
in a similar role in a Food Manufacturing Company
