ASSISTANT MANAGER PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT, GRADE KDC 4 (1 Post)

Job Purpose


The Assistant Manager Portfolio Management will be responsible for undertaking analysis of mature investments and advice on viability of retaining such investments and the management of historical non-performing loans portfolio.

Responsibilities 

  • Managing relationships with investees
  • Collecting and analyzing investment portfolio data to monitor investment returns and risk
  • Monitoring and report risk in assigned investment
  • Identifying high risk investments and propose strategies to mitigate
  • Coordinating with Investment appraisal department to ensure effective and timely communications of the progress and impact of the investment portfolio.
  • Coordinating with Investment Officers to ensure regulatory, reporting
  • Ensuring compliance in investment
  • Participating in investor meetings and calls to provide portfolio
  • Providing content for concept notes and proposals to potential

Qualifications

For a candidate to be appointed to this position, they must have;

  • At least eight (8) years’ relevant work experience, four (4) of which must have been in a supervisory
  • Master’s degree in in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business, Economics, Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized Institution;
  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business, Economics, Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized Institution;
  • Merit and ability as shown in work performance
  • Certificate in Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
  • Meets the requirements of Chapter sic of the Constitution
