ASSISTANT MANAGER PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT, GRADE KDC 4 (1 Post)
Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager
Portfolio Management will be responsible for undertaking analysis of mature
investments and advice on viability of retaining such investments and the
management of historical non-performing loans portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Managing
relationships with investees
- Collecting
and analyzing investment portfolio data to monitor investment returns and
risk
- Monitoring
and report risk in assigned investment
- Identifying
high risk investments and propose strategies to mitigate
- Coordinating
with Investment appraisal department to ensure effective and timely
communications of the progress and impact of the investment portfolio.
- Coordinating
with Investment Officers to ensure regulatory, reporting
- Ensuring
compliance in investment
- Participating
in investor meetings and calls to provide portfolio
- Providing
content for concept notes and proposals to potential
Qualifications
For a candidate to be appointed to this position, they must have;
- At
least eight (8) years’ relevant work experience, four (4) of which must
have been in a supervisory
- Master’s
degree in in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business,
Economics, Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized
Institution;
- Bachelor’s
degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business, Economics,
Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized Institution;
- Merit
and ability as shown in work performance
- Certificate
in Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
- Meets
the requirements of Chapter sic of the Constitution
