Kenya Development Corporation (KDC), is a premier Development Finance Institution (DFI) incorporated on 27th November 2020 following the merger of Industrial & Commercial Development Corporation (ICDC), IDB Capital Ltd (IDB) and Tourism Finance Corporation (TFC). The Corporation’s mandate is to promote sustainable socio-economic development by providing development finance, infrastructure finance, business support and advisory services to medium and large-scale industries, infrastructure projects and commercial undertakings in target sectors in Kenya and elsewhere.

SENIOR BUSINESS ADVISORY OFFICER (1 Post)
Job purpose
The Senior Advisory
Officer will be responsible for provision of advisory services to ensure
sustainability of the established businesses. They will also be responsible for
developing policies and strategies for advisory programs.
Responsibilities
- Undertake
Feasibility studies, and develop business plans for potential customers
- Review
stalled and ailing projects and advice KDC on how to rehabilitate
- Assist
entrepreneurial development through non-financial
- Enhancement
of business plans for KDC’s prospective
- Developing
turnaround plans for distressed clients applying for finance from the
- Offer
client readiness support to bring a funding application to a bankable
- Undertake
business diagnosis to identify gaps and opportunities in governance,
strategy and management of the business
Qualifications
For appointment to this
grade, a candidate must have: –
- Bachelor’s
Degree in any of the following fields, Business, Finance, Commerce,
Economics, Marketing or equivalent qualifications from a recognized
institution;
- At
least four years relevant advisory work experience
- Supervisory
course lasting not less than two (2) weeks
- Proficiency
in computer applications; and
- Fulfilled
the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
