Massive Recruitment at the SGR in Nairobi - CR&BC Kenya

China Road and Bridge Corporation (Kenya), a state-owned corporation created and organized under the laws of the People’s Republic of China was formally established and entered the international project contracting market in 1979, and mainly focuses on the contracting of such projects as roads, bridges, ports, railways, airports, tunnels, water conservancy projects, municipal works and dredging works both at home and abroad. CRBC serves as an important platform for the overseas businesses of CCCC (China Communications Construction Company Ltd.)

CRBC is the contractor of Mombasa Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway project (hereinafter the “Railway” or “SGR”). SGR starts from Port Reitz Station in Mombasa and ends at Nairobi Terminus Station.
The total length of the main line is 471.65 km (including the Nairobi ICD Relief Line at 1.42 km), the length of the station tracks is 133.3 km, and the length of the Mombasa Port Relief Line is 2.041 km (excluding the diverging tracks for Berths No.1 to No. 10). 33 stations will be in operation, including 2 depot stations, 8 intermediate stations and 23 passing stations.

The Railway crosses and runs in parallel with Highway A109 and the existing meter gauge railway, passes through Kenya’s Tsavo National Park and Nairobi National Park, and finally arrives at Nairobi Terminus Station.

Assistant Human Resource Manager
Job Summary

·         A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or a business-related field
·         A member of the Institute of Human Resource Management in good standing with a practicing license
·         CHRA or CHRP qualification
·         12 years’ experience in Human Resource function; with at least 6 years in Employee Relations and/or Industrial Relations management.
·         Sound understanding of HR Policies and Procedures.
·         Knowledge of Labour and Employment Laws and HR Regulatory Guidelines
·         must have industrial dispute resolution skills, excellent leadership skills, Counselling skills, arbitration and negotiation skills

Fire Prevention and Protection Engineer
Job Summary

·         A University degree in Fire-Prevention and Protection Management or a fire safety-related field.
·         Professional qualifications in fire-prevention and protection or specific field of Fire Safety.
·         A member of IFE

·         An IFE level 3 certificates or above will be an added advantage.
·         5years’ experience in Fire-Prevention and Protection Management; with at least 3 years in developing training materials and conducting training sessions on fire protection.
·         Sound understanding of Fire-Prevention and Protection Policies and Procedures.
·         Specialty in fire prevention equipment and techniques, and in fire code and standard interpretation and compliance
·         Excellent leadership, customer service, communication, planning and organizing skills.
·         Computer Literacy.

Train Crew
