Job Title: Sales Representative   
Vacancy: 1 position
Reporting to the Sales & Distribution Manager, the following shall be the key roles:-
Key responsibilities:
Targets – Set monthly targets & develop a work plan to achieve products sales targets and the KPI for each distributor in line with company expectations; responsible for distributors support towards meeting their set objectives and performance targets.

General Reporting – Ensure that all necessary reporting is prepared in a simple and effective manner to enable accurate and informed decisions to be effected by management; submitting activity and results reports- daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Leadership – Demonstrate good people management skills in order to motivate & lead a team to achieve the set objectives of the company; demonstrate strong management skills in order to manage and motivate distributors on selling Proctor-Allan products as their principle income driver.
Intra-company – Liaise with other sales & intra company depts. to ensure that that there is a coherent and effective execution of activity into the market place

Distributorship Relations – Be responsible for the whole relationship between Proctor-Allan and all its distributors within the designated territory, Arbitrate where necessary; Effectively utilize the distributor organization and their sales channels to drive sales through various promotional activities.
Market Intelligence – Provide regular market intelligence and competitor developments to the management; Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors; Ensure timely collection of debt.
Customer Service – Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Education qualifications required: For acceptable performance the position requires a Diploma in Sales & Marketing
Clean & Valid Driving licence (Classes B,C,E); Pass AA Driving Assessment Test
Work Experience
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in food manufacturing concern.
