Job Title: Sales Executive – Hotel Industry
Salary: 80K – 100K
Our client is a manufacturer
and supplier of Hotel Amenities in Kenya.
They seek to hire an
ambitious Sales Executive who will be responsible for acquiring new client
accounts and achieving set sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify key
contacts in hotels across Kenya, explain product features and build
awareness of the business and the brands
- Develop and
implement aggressive sales plan; monitor progress towards meeting the
plan’s requirements
- Visit at least
6 clients each day and prepare daily reports on the outcome of the visits
- Prepare a sales
file for each client and keep accurate records of transactions
- Work with
operations and supply chain to ensure delivery of goods to the client is
completed correctly
- Review order
prices and ensure they are in accordance with the company’s prices
- Negotiate prices
with clients and secure long term contracts
- Complete sales
order tickets and submit for processing
- Issue pro forma
invoice to clients and prepare and issue statements of account every month
end
- Follow up on
payments, credit limits and returns
- Manage and
resolve client complaints; ensure customer satisfaction
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Sales, Marketing or Business
- 5 years’ sales
experience in hotel industry. Previous experience in amenities
supplies/distribution preferred
- Successful
track record of achieving sales goals and budgets
- Strong
communication skills and ability to negotiate
- Good knowledge
of Excel
- Mature and
Presentable
- Valid driver’s
license (availability of own car preferred)
