Job Summary: Responsible for developing new key business relationships and generating new income in line to the company vision and mission. 

Develop new business relationships and generate new income in your specified vertical. 

Be knowledgeable of all our Connectivity, Cloud, Communication and Carrier solutions and the value proposition they offer our clients’ businesses. 

Analyze and understand your target market’s business drivers and have the ability to articulate the value proposition of our ICT solutions to them. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivery of the metrics set in the quarterly accountability matrixes as defined by the Sales Execution Framework
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets by developing relationships within targeted customers.
  • Engage with customers at executive level (MD, FC and ICT Manager Level), to understand their communication needs, to leverage IS Solutions to meet the customer’s business needs, to grow relationships with a longer term focus.
  • Create and manage sales pipeline and achieve pipeline conversion to sales targets.
  • Developing and managing new business sales plan at an individual level
  • Hands on lead generation from existing and new contacts.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals in conjunction with the Solutions Architects
  • To oversee conversion of all clients sold to into billing clients
  • Attend all training on existing or new services offered by the organization
  • Know and adhere to all the setout sales processes and use the systems relevant to the processes
  • Timely reporting on the set metrics on a weekly basis or as per the manager’s requirement
  • Gather market intelligence and share with the team on a daily/weekly basis
  • Keep up to date with industry trends.
Qualifications, Training and Experience:
  • Tertiary education preferably related to IT, an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
  • Computer literate with strong MS Office skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer relation skills.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in sales and the ICT industry.
  • Proven Solution Selling or Consultative sales skills with high levels of documentation.
  • Proven over achievement of sales targets.
  • Excellent presentation skills.

Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager- Corporate Section, responsible for the client retention and revenue growth of the Development Accounts Client Segment by supervising the Account Managers, coordinating and executing sales plans and strategies to increase wallet share in the client segment. 

This is in order to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision, strategy and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Strategy: Manage & execute the Development Accounts Growth Strategy as set by the Sales Execution Framework - Goals, Objectives & Activities.
  • Assist in the building of an automated service delivery model for the segment based on client feedback and segment observations/trends. Work with the relevant departments on the delivery of this
  • Consistent delivery of the set net revenue target for the client segment with the right solution mix by managing the team pipeline and forecast/commits
  • Set the tactical direction of the account managers’ activities in the short and medium term, including:
1.    Review & implementation of quarterly accountability matrixes for each account manager
2.    Weekly performance reporting and tracking of the set metrics
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team in executing segment-relevant marketing events
  • Responsible for the recruitment, performance management, development and motivation of the account managers in the Development accounts client segment
Qualifications, Training and Experience:
  • A degree in Business Administration or related discipline-sales management and proficiency in Computer packages.
  • Post graduate qualification desirable but not a must.
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience
  • Working experience in the Telecommunications and / or IT industry.

2.    Manage the client experience standards by engaging and collaborating with senior managers across the business that have a direct impact on the clients’ experiences

4.    Weekly performance reporting and tracking of the set metrics
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team in executing marketing events
  • Set the direction and tactic for the top 10 deals in pursuit on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for the recruitment, performance management, development and motivation of the account managers in the Strategic accounts client segment
