Office Manager Job in Nairobi, Kenya (350K)

Our client, a Barefoot Luxury Boutique Hotel Group, is looking for an energetic and passionate Office Manager for their offices in Nairobi. 

The successful candidate will be responsible to open the office in Nairobi as well as organizing and supervising all of the administrative activities. 

She/he must be a “out of the box” thinker with at least 5 years of experience working in a high end hospitality environment, preferably for a lodge or safari company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up the office in Nairobi and implement all systems and communication.
  • Support the lodge with procurement and logistics.
  • Recruitment of lodge staff with support of head office.
  • Train and inspire all office staff.
  • Be aware of current affairs with regards to issues that impact on tourism in Kenya.
  • Oversee accountant and ground handler’s duties and step in when they are on leave.
  • Finding local suppliers and being involved with product development.
  • Payroll for the office.
Qualifications
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in the high end hospitality environment.
  • Lodge environment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of office administration.
  • Knowledge of HR management and supervision.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Recruitment skills.
  • Valid international drivers licence.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 350,000/= plus other benefits (Approx. 3,500 USD)
