Job Title: Office Manager

Location: 
Lavington, Nairobi

Salary: 25,000/= Ksh + High commissions

Contract: Fixed Term

Hours: 12 hours per day over 5 days

Monday to Friday: 6am to 6pm

Jo Websites have a great opportunity for an Office Manager to join the team based in our Lavington office in Nairobi. 


The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team, the role holder will manage a group of professional administration and business support staff. 

This person will be an essential part of the management organisation and will support development of the business processes and one team approach.

Tasks: Main Accountabilities

1. Service delivery
  • Plans and manages the delivery of a service to the relevant parts of the business to meet current needs, identify performance gaps and address emerging requirements. 
  • Efficiently uses escalation process to achieve the desired results
2. Quality
  • Establishes metrics and monitors performance and service delivery to ensure maximum efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
3. Technical leadership
  • Provides technical leadership for staff within specialised function such as Wordpress, Website Design, Marketing, Admin, MySQL and other design related work.
4. Processes
  • Develops, implements and improves relevant processes, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness within area of accountability.
5. HR
  • Ensures (with company director support) that the area of responsibility is properly organised, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within company HR policies.
6. Health and Safety
  • Responsible for excellent employee safety practices in the office areas.
7. Clean working environment
  • Co-ordinates employees to keep the office area clean & tidy. Sets measures to create professional working environments.
8. Procurement
  • Efficiently manages the procurement in line with company director to ensure on time deliveries.
9. Budget
  • Participates in defining the annual budget for area of responsibility and is accountable for managing performance against agreed financial targets.

  • Working with customers on their requirements
