Our client, a medium sized SACCO in
Timau, Meru County, with a branch in Naivasha, wishes to recruit suitably
qualified and experienced individual for the position of:
Accounts Assistant
Reporting to Accountant the key responsibilities for the position will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure accurate and timely record keeping
- Ensures monthly reconciliation of all General
ledger accounts
- Accurate maintenance of Members’ Personal
Accounts
- Practice transparency, accountability and
effective use of financial resources and assets
- Assist in design and formulation of Sacco
products and services
- ATM & Mpesa Reconciliation
- Making General ledger postings
- Market and cross-sell the Sacco products and
services
- Any other duties as requested by the
Accountant
Skills, Competencies and Experience:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Part 2
- A business related degree in finance or
Accounting an added advantage
- Three years relevant working experience
especially in a Sacco Society at a similar level.
- Have exemplary integrity and honesty
- Have excellent financial analysis, quick
judgment, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal
skills
- A team player able to motivate and mentor a
team
