Finance Assistant
The Finance Assistant will work
within the finance department in a supportive role to effectively manage
financial transactions and budgetary parameters.
Principal Duties / Tasks and
responsibilities
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to
ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
- Making statutory deductions e.g. P.A.Y.E and
V.A.T
- Matching invoices to statements and purchase
orders to invoices
- Assist in the production of financial
statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports and
correspondence as required
- Processing and recording routine accounting
transactions
- Preparation of the monthly bank reconciliation
statements
- Preparing vouchers, invoices, and cheques.
- Responding to suppliers and customers payment
queries
- Preparing various financial reports.
Qualifications, Experience and
Knowledge:
- University degree / Diploma in related field
- CPA holder part 1 and 2
- Proficient in Computer Accounting, Quick-
Books, Sage Books and Pastel
- Minimum of 2years’ financial experience
required
- Excellent communication skills
