Taraji Sacco Society Limited is a medium size Sacco with a huge growth potential and has vacancies for qualified Kenyan citizens for the following 2 senior management positions;


1. Systems Administrator and Data Officer

Summary Responsibilities
  • Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  • Participate in adequate technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
  • Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, and user friendly
  • Support operations ’staff in executing, testing and rolling-out system /modules solutions
  • Ensure all Systems Security both physical and logical, Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of Data all the time
  • LAN and WAN networking and troubleshooting
  • Required to be innovative and make proposals for possible system improvement by advising the management and Board
  • Making timely reports and observing reporting timelines
  • Be able to make independent judgments

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree qualification in ICT from a recognised institution
  • KCSE C+ qualification or equivalent
  • 3 years’ work experience in a busy financial institution preferably a Sacco
  • Have good knowledge on financial information systems preferably ASMAS ( Sacco Based Financial Solution)
  • Basic accounting knowledge would be an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player
  • Age bracket 30-45 years
  • Be able to work long hours

2. Finance Manager

Summary Responsibilities
  • Preparation and reporting of Financial Statements within the professional and regulatory framework and production of Management Accounts regularly as would be required
  • Advise the Management and Board on periodical financial performance accordingly for decision making
  • Budgeting and funds planning process in a timely manner and ensure such Budgets and plans are reviewed consistently, reported and strictly adhered to.
  • Plan and coordinate the accounting department staff to ensure work professionalism
  • Ensure Financial Information Management System (IMS) in use is appropriate and meeting minimum reporting standards required.
  • Ensure financial registers are appropriately updated and kept at all times
  • Effectively coordinate internal and external audits
  • Ensure all financial assets and liabilities of Taraji Sacco are well kept and safe, properly valued, necessarily insured and recorded appropriately

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree
  • Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA (K)) or equivalent
  • A member of ICPAK and be proficient in computerized accounting systems
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player
  • 3 years’ work experience in a busy financial institution preferably a Sacco would be an added advantage
  • Basic ICT knowledge would be an added advantage
  • Age bracket 30-45 years
  • Be able to work long hours
