If so our client in the travel
industry is looking for a Travel Consultant.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive, cheerful approach to all
customers both domestic and International.
- Use creativity and a variety of resources to overcome
challenges, acquire information, satisfy clients' needs and maximize
agency revenues.
- Establish clients' needs on first contact, qualify by
leading client conversations with questions and treat each inquiry with
patience and focus.
- Offer comparisons and make recommendations
- Ensure that all reservations are processed in
accordance with established policies.
- Maintain current knowledge of promotions and specials
and proactively advise clients of savings opportunities.
- Consistently maintain personal sales and revenue
targets as established on an individual basis
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Travel College Diploma or Degree in related
field
- Travel Consultant Experience, including international
booking and consultation.
- Proven customer service skills and abilities.
- Personable, Flexible, presentable, service-oriented,
accurate, efficient, able to work under pressure of deadlines.
Office is open 6 days a week and
must be willing to work Saturdays.
