Finance Manager

Global logistics company with
offices in Mombasa, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Kampala, Juba, Dubai, Yemen,
Somalia, Shanghai, Singapore and Houston Freight forwarding, imports clearance,
exports, warehousing, trucking and construction logistics projects
Main responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer
- Responsible for the completion of the monthly
accounting cycle
- Oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,
Invoicing, Employee Benefits, Payroll, General Ledger
- Coordinates final monthly financial statements with
outside accounting firm
- Oversight of small subsidiary offices
- Small amount of travel to Mombasa, Dar es Salaam,
Kampala and Juba required
- Oversight of company registrations, tax returns, and
intercompany transactions
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting from an accredited university
- Ten years of “hands on” experience
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
- QuickBooks experience required
- Experience in multi company environment required
- Must be able to communicate well in written English
- Must be a leader and able to function in a fast paced
work environment
- VAT return preparation required
