lead in Motor Vehicle Repairs and Servicing for Corporate bodies, Insurance
companies, NGO’s, Individuals e.t.c.
In
order to strengthen the leadership team, we seek to recruit pro-active
individuals to fill the following positions:-
1. Production and Quality Control Supervisor (Body Shop)
Reports
to the Workshop Manager.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:-
- Responsible for
supervising body shop repair works and ensuring adherence to agreed
standards within set targets.
- Responsible for
monitoring production, and coordinating the activities of workers who are
involved in inspecting materials and ensuring that they meet the quality
standards specified by the company.
- Maintains work
flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables;
observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and
resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing
reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions
within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of
cooperation within and between departments.
- Ensuring High
quality outputs that satisfies the company’s clientele needs.
- Ensures
operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment
and techniques.
- Provides
manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing
production performance records and data; answering questions and
responding to requests.
- Creates and
revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping
systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements;
implementing change.
- Maintains safe
and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use
of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance
with established policies and procedures.
- Resolves
personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying
solutions; recommending action.
- Maintains
professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional
societies.
- Contributes to
team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Academic
qualification
- A minimum of a
Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
Experience
- Age above 30
years.
- Over 5 years
experience in a busy body shop workshop either as a senior supervisor or
manager.
2. Sales Manager (Accident Repair and
Maintenance Department)
Reporting
to the General Manager, the Job holder is expected to be a pro-active self
driven, dynamic and passionate individual.
He/she
will be primarily responsible for driving sales in Repair/Maintenance.
Key
responsibilities:
- Monitor and
analyze strategies to drive revenue growth by increasing customer base.
- Selecting and
recruitment of sales executives.
- Work with
management team, CEO & the Board in setting of targets and sales
strategy formulation, develop performance measurement parameters for
monitoring and evaluation.
- Monitor variances
against set sales targets and make appropriate recommendations.
- Interact with
the entire company management and monitor business processes citing any
areas that may hinder increased sales & make appropriate
recommendations.
- Carry out market
research/competitor analysis on a periodical basis making appropriate
recommendations, establishing and maintaining contacts with corporate
bodies, Insurance Brokers/Agencies, Government ministries, parastatals,
Embassies and all our customers.
- Motivating Sales
Executives to achieve and surpass targets as wellas showing alternative
ways for their attainment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’
degree in Sales/Marketing or Business related field.
- 5 years Sales
experience. Experience in the motor industry will be an added advantage.
- Experience in
managing a team of sales people.
- A go-getter with
excellent verbal & written skills.
- Age – above 30
years.
