Human Resources Manager
Key Accountability/Result Areas
Reporting to the Managing Director, your main responsibility will be to provide strategic support to the Managing Director by building sustainable organizational capabilities through successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives that support the Company Human Resource Strategy in partnership with Management
The incumbent will be responsible for designing an integrated and holistic capability and training strategy for the Company by deeply understanding the existing and anticipated human capital life cycle requirements of the organization.
Qualification and Competencies
·         A minimum of five years of HR Generalist experience with exposure to Performance Management, Succession Planning, Change Management, Recruitment and Selection
·         Some related experience in all HR component areas, e,g, talent development, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition etc,
·         Knowledge of Kenyan Labour Legislation
·         Qualified professional with University Degree
·         Post graduate qualification in HR is desirable
·         Membership of a professional HR body is an added advantage
Route to Market Improvement Manager
Key Accountability/Result Areas
Reporting to the General Sales Manager, your main responsibility will be to develop and continuously improve the Route-To-Market structure of Equator Bottlers Ltd with the aim of achieving higher efficiencies in product distribution and a sustained competitive advantage, from both a strategic and an operational view point.
Qualification and Competencies
·         Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University, preferably business related.
·         Diploma in Project Management will be an added advantage
·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
·         Excellent project management skills
·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·         2-5 years relevant experience in Sales and Distribution strategy and operations in a FMCG company
·         Microsoft Office, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills is required
Public Relations Officer (PRO) )
Key Accountability/Result Areas
Reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager, your principal accountability will be to assist in developing and executing a clear Public Affairs and communication strategy, plan and agenda in a way that in a way that manages and enhances the reputation of EBL in a positive, deliberate and measurable way
This needs to be done in alignment with the Coca-Cola Central, East & West Africa (CEWA) business unit, in order to ensure consistency and cohesion.
Key Competencies
·         Minimum Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent,
·         Strong communication and presentation skills – A Good command of English & Kiswahili languages
·         At least 3 years related work experience in the area of expertise
·         Strong media relations skills and a broad contact base with both regional and national media
·         Good knowledge of PAC functions – including Communications, PR, stakeholder management, events management, government relations
·         Attention to detail: accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful during project execution
·         Multi-Tasking: The ability to process multiple types of information, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and make judgments about prioritizing tasks
·         Community and special interest Groups: Knowledge of community and special interest groups (e.g., objectives, leadership, methods) that have the potential to impact the EBL’s business or operating environment, Includes ability to influence these groups on behalf of the Company
·         Reasonably sound knowledge of the regulatory environment that impacts the company, including political systems, taxation, environmental regulations (e.g., recycling, solid waste management and air and water quality), how it impacts EBL’s operations, and the required compliance,
Procurement Officer
Reporting directly to The Finance Manager your principal accountability will be to:-
·         Ensure timely sourcing of quotations from approved suppliers and service providers in Tine with the company’s procurement policy to facilitate procurement of goods and services for the company
·         Develop, implement and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to facilitate an effective and efficient process
·         Engage, develop and maintain good relations with suppliers and internal user departments
·         Develop and implement both short and long-term procurement strategies designed to reduce costs, improve quality and service while meeting company goals and objectives
Key Accountability/Result Areas

Qualification and Competencies
·         A Bachelor’s degree in commerce or any business related field, Diploma in purchasing & supplies mgt or chartered institute of purchasing and supplies,
·         At least three (3) years experience in procurement in a busy organisation
·         Membership to a professional body is desirable.
·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·         High integrity and well developed computer skills
Area Sales Managers
Key Accountability / Result Areas
Reporting directly to The General Sales Manager, your principal accountability will be to:
·         Manage distributor and key accounts effectively
·         Prepare, plan and execute sales and market coverage programs
·         Ensure effective implementation of the sales and marketing strategy
·         Implement management routines in the area, these include daily sales reports, customer lists, route coverage etc.
·         Plan, implement and monitor budgets for the assigned area
·         Supervise and undertake sales promotions and merchandising to achieve maximum product availability, brand visibility and awareness at all levels
·         Manage a sales team of (Sales Representatives and Merchandisers) to ensure achievement of set targets within the assigned territory
·         Manage credit control function for the Sales Region
·         Manage customer care in line with Company business strategy
·         Conduct staff capacity building in line with maximizing sales and overall profit growth of designated operational areas

Qualification and Competencies
·         Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University, preferably business related
·         A Diploma in sales and marketing will be an added advantage
·         A high degree of strategic and commercial aptitude as well as excellent communication skills
·         At least three years experience in managing a sales team in a business environment.
·         Strong leadership skills and computer literate
·         Microsoft Office, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills required
·         Holder of a valid driving license,
Key Accountability / Result Areas
Reporting directly to The Area Sales Manager, your principal accountability will be to:-
·         Manage the sales activities within the assigned territory through the company sales agents
·         Meet the set sales target within the assigned territory
·         Engage the trade to create demand for company’s products & fulfill the requirements
·         Establish customer requirements and provide information for decision-making and preparation of sales reports.
·         Supervise the merchandisers in the assigned territory to ensure outlet branding for maximum visibility of various brands and sales promotions
·         Manage credit control for the company sales agents in the assigned territory
·         Effectively manage company assets allocated for sales delivery
Qualification and Competencies
·         A holder of Bachelors degree from a recognized university, preferably business related
·         Diploma in sales and marketing will be an added advantage
·         At least two years working experience ¡n a sales environment.
·         High integrity, creativity and ability to focus on the customer needs
·         Computer literate and holder of a valid driving license
Merchandisers
Key Accountability / Result Areas
Reporting directly to The Sales Representative, your principal accountability will be to:-
·         Meet the sales target for the assigned distributors/key accounts
·         Merchandise and order generation at retail outlets
·         Ensure Visibility and brand presence creation and monitoring
·         Conduct market surveys and intelligence
Qualification and Competencies
·         A holder of Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
·         Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage
·         At least one year working experience, those with working experience in the FMCG environment will have an added advantage
·         Well developed interpersonal and communication skills and computer literate
·         Holders of a valid driving license will have an added advantage
