Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:
Cleaning of offices, Board room, chambers, kitchen,
lavatories and all buildings;
Performing reprographic services;
Preparing and serving tea;
Collecting and cleaning utensils;
Collecting and disposing waste;
Dusting offices and ensuring habitable office
conditions;
Tending and cultivating gardens; I.e preparing
grounds for planting by digging and levelling, planting flowers and life
fences, trimming live fences and keeping them at acceptable levels, collecting
rubbish on the ground
Moving or carrying office equipment, furniture and
ensuring orderly arrangement;
Dispatching letters;
Collecting and delivering documents/ correspondences
outside the organization; and
Delivering documents/correspondences within the
organization.
Requirement for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D
(plain) or any other equivalent qualification; and
Fluency in English and Kiswahili
