Job Purpose
The Office Administrators are responsible for
inquiries, providing secretarial services, and attending to clients in the
Office of Director Market Conduct and Director Corporate Services.
Job Specifications
The duties and responsibilities of the officer will
entail:
Attending to visitors/clients.
Handling telephone calls, customer inquiries, and
complaints/compliments.
Ensuring security and confidentiality of office
records, equipment, and documents.
Maintaining office diary.
Record-keeping for correspondences and file movement.
Managing office protocol and etiquette.
Coordinating the general administration of the
respective office.
Coordinating the schedule of meetings and
appointments.
Coordinating travel arrangements and travel
itineraries.
Preparing responses to routine correspondence.
Monitoring procedures for record-keeping for
correspondences.
Person Specifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration,
secretarial studies, or a business-related field; OR
Higher Diploma in Secretarial Studies or its
equivalent from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) or any other
recognized institution with three (3) years of experience; OR
Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya
National Examinations Council (KNEC) or any other recognized institution with
four (4) years of experience;
Meets the provisions of Chapter Six of the
Constitution.
Competencies and Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Good analytical skills.
Problem-solving.
Professionalism.
