The
Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the general hotel operations,
with an emphasis in the Front Office; Housekeeping, maintenance and F&B
Service departments. They are the go-to person for Department Heads to assist
and support the Team on a daily basis. Coordinates and leads all projects in
the hotel as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications and skills
- Strong leadership skills.
- Minimum 5-years as Front Office Manager
or Rooms Division Manager in a four or five-star property.
- Ability to think independently, possess
good judgement, proven problem-solving skills and effective
decision-making skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality
Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional guest service by
maintaining a strong presence in the hotel and actively engaging with
guests.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and
special requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement strategies to enhance guest
satisfaction and loyalty, such as personalized services, special
promotions, or loyalty programs.
- Monitor guest reviews and ratings,
analyze trends, and take appropriate actions to improve overall guest
experience.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the hotel’s annual
budget, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and profit
optimization.
- Foster a positive work environment that
encourages teamwork, employee morale, and professional growth.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to
communicate organizational goals, operational changes, and address any
concerns.
