is recruiting to fill the position of IT Support Specialist, who has Linux,
Vmware, Networking, Storage, Windows, Backup, Oracle, SQL, Firewall, and
Network Security skills. The idea candidate must have knowledge of ITIL/Agile,
Fintech Awareness, and at least 1-3 years Application support experience.
The IT
Support Specialist will provide essential support to our partners’ business
operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of IT services and systems.
Job
Description
- Provide
technical support for IT infrastructure components, including
troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Linux, VMware, Networking,
Storage, Windows, Backup, Oracle, SQL, Firewall, and Network Security.
- Respond
to user inquiries and incidents in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring
minimal disruption to business operations.
- Perform
routine maintenance tasks on servers, storage systems, and networking
devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor
system health and proactively address any potential issues or
vulnerabilities.
- Manage
backup and recovery operations to protect critical data and ensure
business continuity.
- Test
backup and disaster recovery procedures regularly to verify their
effectiveness.
- Support
Oracle and SQL databases, including installation, configuration, and
performance tuning.
- Execute
database queries and provide support for database-related issues as
needed.
- Implement
and maintain firewall and network security measures to protect against
unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Stay
updated on the latest security threats and best practices to ensure a
robust security posture.
- Maintain
accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and
troubleshooting steps.
- Generate
reports on support activities, incident trends, and performance metrics as
required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3
years of experience in IT support roles, with expertise in Linux, VMware,
Networking, Storage, Windows, Backup, Oracle, SQL, Firewall, and Network
Security.
- Strong
understanding of FinTech concepts and their application in IT
environments.
- Familiarity
with ITIL/Agile methodologies and their implementation in support
processes.
- Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective
communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability
to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
