Reporting
to Human Resources Business Partner, the position holder will be responsible
for manpower planning, employee on boarding process and the development of
learning and development policies, strategies delivering mechanisms in line
with company strategic objectives. The position works closely with the HR
Business Partners to ensure delivery of relevant, timely and impactful
trainings. Ensures that there is an agreed manpower plan for the organization.
Ensure delivery of structured training solutions to employees in the most
effective manner, to maintain their competence and capacity development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manpower
planning: Together with the HR Business Partners assess the need for talent in
relation to the current and future business, including the need for specific
competencies, knowledge and skills and experience to enable the business to
achieve its strategic objectives. Develop, promote and implement the full range
of workforce, succession planning and talent management strategies that will
support the delivery of business requirements. Monitor and review workforce
data in order to spot staffing risks and issues as well as opportunities for
future improvement.
Recruitment:
Effective roll out of HR policies and procedures in the area of recruitment.
Ensure proper on boarding of new staff. Identification of current and future
recruitment plans and support recruitment as appropriate to support the
Hospital’s strategy.
Learning
and development: Give strategic direction, on training and staff capacity
development. Ensure that regular and comprehensive training needs assessment
conducted for all employees. Coordinate external training programs and design
internal training curriculums, programs and modules in line with identified
training needs and strategic objectives of the company. Work with heads of
department and HR Business Partners develop a staff training calendar on an
annual basis.
Qualifications
& Requirements
Bachelor’s
degree in Education/Training/ Social sciences
A minimum
5 years in corporate staff training, recruitment and manpower planning in a
large Hospitality Industry.
Certified
HR professional, a registered member of IHRM
