Our client is a Christian Non-Profit organization located in Nakuru seeking to hire a Receptionist. He/she shall be the first point of contact in the foundation, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. He/She shall demonstrate efficiency in meeting work timelines and, maintain a polite and professional demeanor when dealing with our parents, visitors, and suppliers.


  • Greet visitors and parents professionally and courteously.
  • Answer and direct incoming and outgoing calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments, and meetings held in school.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) proficiently to create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and manage emails.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in the expected time.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations of the reception area.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with visitors, parents, and staff.
  • Handle inquiries and requests with professionalism and integrity.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.


  • Diploma in Secretarial studies or a business-related course.
  • Additional Certification such as Certified Public Secretaries is an added advantage.
  • 1 Year working experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Polite and professional demeanor with a customer service-oriented approach.
