Our client, a marketing company that delivers 360-degree marketing concepts, are seeking to recruit a highly qualified professional to fill in the following position in their Nairobi office:
CLIENT SERVICE ACCOUNT MANAGER
The incumbent will be responsible for looking for new business in Kenya and East Africa as well as managing the existing clients’ growth, profitability and the value-add relationship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
through regular close contact with
- Ensuring standards of quality and workmanship of projects
meet and/or surpass customer and group
- Ensuring proposals and presentations are sent to clients on
or before the deadline.
- Formulating strategies and setting targets for the Account
team and coaching the Customer Service
- Managing project campaigns, new business briefs, and setting
timetables and deadlines for clients and the
- Seeking to increase the services offered and the income
generated in conjunction with the cross-sell and up-sell strategies to
targets.
- Working closely with the project team to maintain a
continuous knowledge of project status and identify potential issues
and/or opportunities related to the
- Ensuring account plans for each client are updated with all
the current and relevant information concerning the client and the
- Following up on customer complaints and queries
Key Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and
Competencies
- Bachelor in Business Management/Administration, Bachelor of
Arts in Communication or any other relevant discipline.
- Postgraduate in a relevant discipline will be an added
advantage
- 4 years of experience in Client Service, Account or Project
Management or Public Relations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Power
Point
- Ability to prioritize tasks and cope with conflicting demands
- Good communication and report-writing skills
- Good leadership and team player skills
