Marketing Manager
Responsibilities.
- The incumbent will work hand in
hand with the General Manager and other members of the Management team to
ensure that they deliver professional, high quality and efficient services
to Broll and the client. He/she will be tasked with the execution of the following
duties: –
- Assumes responsibility for
planning and executing effective Mall marketing programs
- Conceptualizing and implementing
the marketing strategy for the Shopping Center.
- Implementing the brand strategy
across all platforms.
- Managing and implementing the
print, digital and social media.
- Effectively managing the
marketing budget and planning of the annual budget, driving cost
efficiencies
- Maintaining regular research
initiatives, driving the consumer engagement strategy and tenant mix
engagement strategy
- Managing integrated
communications strategy across all brand and promotional platforms.
- Tenant liaison and customer
engagement strategies and PR as well as obtaining turnovers managing the
top and bottom performers ensuring market growth and strategies to improve
the performing at the shopping Center.
- Schedule and organize tenant
meetings and marketing meeting
- Assumes responsibility for
establishing and maintaining professional business relations with
customers, , marketing professionals, and external business contacts
- Establishes and implements
effective communication with outside contacts including media
- Establishes and implements
effective communication with public, tenants and service providers
- Maintain contact with existing
and potential clients to promote sales
- Ensures that requests and
questions, regarding Center Marketing, are promptly, appropriately, and
courteously resolved
- Ensures that the Company’s
professional reputation is maintained
- Builds corporate investor
relations. Produces press releases, corporate advertisements, and
quarterly and annual reports.
- Assists with public and press
relations.
- Ensures that the Mall’s
professional reputation is maintained and projected.
- Ensures that customers are
properly informed of Mall products and services.
- Assumes responsibility for
establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication,
and coordination with Mall personnel and management
- Assists and supports personnel as
needed.
- coordinates marketing activities
with other Departments for optimal results.
- Keeps management informed of area
activities and of any significant problems.
- Attends and participates in
meetings as required.
- Assumes responsibility for
related duties as required or assigned Completes special projects. Assumes
responsibility for a specific product focus as assigned.
- Ensures that work area is clean,
secure, and well maintained.
- Performs the duties of Marketing
Support as required
Required Education &
Experience
- Degree in Marketing / Sales/
Business Administration or equivalent. Membership with Marketing Society
of Kenya (MSK) mandatory.
- At least Seven years of
experience in marketing communications, advertising, or related fields
preferably with some real estate experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Mall
products and services.
- Understanding of related computer
applications.
- Knowledge of advertising,
printing, and print production processes.
- Excellent proofreading skills and
command of the English language.
- Solid writing skills.
- Outstanding communication and
graphic design abilities.
- Well organized and able to meet
deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team
environment, without supervision
- Willingness to learn.
